One of the most overlooked aspects of sports training is the nutrition athletes need to perform at their best. We offer a comprehensive nutrition analysis for athletes to help them build lean muscle, cut those last couple pounds, and overcome plateaus we all struggle with in reaching our goals. We can help everyone from marathon runners to high school soccer players by assessing the foods they eat, and figuring out the best way to maximize performance. We will take into account your exercise regimen and current diet and help you reach your goals as an athlete.

What You Can Expect:

Our Sports Nutrition program is designed into a comprehensive 12-week consecutive program.

• At each visit you will meet with a Nurse, Wellness Coordinator, Emotional Advocate, and Physician typically in the order listed here.

• The program is an hour commitment each week. We do offer evening hours.

• The initial visit consists of filling out paper work, a history and physical with physician, an EKG, waist measurement, laboratory requisition form, BMI on a body composition scale including a body composition assessment report, and vital signs.

• Our Nurse will check your vital signs at each visit.

• Our Wellness Coordinator will devise an individualized menu plan based on your body composition assessment, mode and intensity of exercise, goals, and needs in mind. During the 12-week program our Wellness Coordinator will advise any sports enthusiast to get proper nutrition.

• Our Emotional Advocate will support and advocate in a variety of different ways utilizing different techniques to meet individual goals and needs. (Read more about Emotional Advocacy below).

• Our physicians will meet with you to review laboratory findings and monitor progress.

• We do offer medical foods and supplements for individuals to use as a strategic snack or meal replacement that are high in protein and low in calories. We offer other supplementation to help fit treatment goals. These are all optional.

• We offer Vitamin B-complex injection with lipotropic factors to increase energy and help make you feel better. These help to eliminate fat more effectively and efficiently. These are optional.

Emotional Advocacy: Emotional Advocacy is a unique and eclectic approach to helping individuals change behavior and lifestyle through critical analysis, individual guidance, information giving, and support for areas such as stress management, motivation, support systems, self-esteem, emotional eating, behavior change, and relaxation.
